The client needed a single system to run a currency exchange operation end to end: onboarding clients and sellers, tracking live exchange rates, recording trades, reconciling settlements, and keeping a clean audit trail, with numbers that always had to be right, since every entry touches real money.
A role-based admin CRM in Next.js with a NestJS API and PostgreSQL underneath. Every money-moving action (trades, transfers, settlements) writes to an immutable ledger and audit log, while a dedicated rates engine keeps live and historical exchange rates in sync across the whole platform.
